It’s Presidents Day. Technically, I have the day off, so I’m not sure why I’m here, about to write a story about a headboard on Wayfair.
I guess because I’m using my day off to shop, Presidents Day (Feb. 16) is actually a good time to find big deals on furniture and Wayfair is offering up to 70% off, sitewide.
I’ve been in my current apartment for close to two years now, and while my living room looks amazing (think minimalist meets cool girl with a splash of 70s decor thrown in for personality), my bedroom is an embarrassment. After some objective scrutiny, I’ve concluded it’s because I don’t have a headboard.
People always credit the right rug for bringing a room together. Typically, I agree. But when a bedroom is the subject of the design dilemma, it’s really about the headboard. It draws the eyes upward and provides a focal point. Without it, you’re risking the room feeling less like a sanctuary and more like a place people rent by the hour.
